The volume level on our Android phones comprises of 7 or 15 steps between minimum and maximum. For the media controls, you’ll get 15 steps i.e between mute and max. If perhaps you’re a movie lover or someone who is addicted to music, then you’ll need a pair of headphone on daily basis to go around your businesses. Chances are, you might not be able to get the same volume level between your headphones and this can be a whole lot irritating.
Prior to this problem, the developers at XDA “Phascinate” and “Kuba Kalamarz” has come up with a similar app that can increase the maximum volume steps on Android. The two developers envisioned and decided to create these apps (Precise Volume & Volume Steps+) since they felt that Android was seriously lacking in the volume steps department. Now while the VolumeStep+ Xposed Module requires root permission to function, the Precise Volume can blend on any Android with or without rooting. This definitely is the difference between the two app. Without further ado, here’s how to increase the maximum volume steps on Android with or without rooting.
