How To Install The Google Pixel Boot Animation On Your Android.

#1. Download the above recommended apps and move it to your sdcard or internal storage. Make sure you place the boot animation on were you can easily Locate it.

#2. Install and open the es file explorer you downloaded from the above given link. Now click on the menu and tap Root Explorer to enable. Grant root access if asked.

#3. Now click on the Homepage text word and a drop down menu will appear. Click on Device, then scroll down and locate the System folder. Tap on it to open, look for the folder named media, tap to open again and you will be presented with some zip files (boot animation included), folder and mp3 file.

#4. Tap and hold on the bootanimation.zip and click on the “I” icon (as shown below). Then rename the file to bootanimation.zip1 and tap OK.

#5. Now using the es file explorer, go back and locate the Google Pixel boot animation you copied earlier, tap and hold it then click option and select copy. A popup box will appear, click on the backward arrow and select device, scroll down and locate the system>media folder as said earlier then paste the copied file and tap OK. Done!

#6. Reboot your phone and see it working perfectly.

NOTE Be careful while tinkering with your system folder in other not to get any bootloop. And endeavor to backup your device before indulging in this method. Its safe!. Do things as instructed and everything other thing will work fine.

Final Word

If after following the procedures and you later find the Google pixel boot animation boring (Which I know you won’t) just head over to system>media folder, now delete the pixel boot animation and rename the bootanimation.zip1 back to its original format bootanimation.zip then press OK and reboot your device.
